OVERVIEW

Across Jacobs, across our offices, across the world, we’re continually challenging today to reinvent tomorrow. Everything we do - from addressing water scarcity and aging infrastructure to ensuring access to life-saving therapies and protecting against sophisticated cyberattacks - is more than projects outlined in proposal requests. They’re our challenges as human beings, too. That’s why we bring a thoughtful and collaborative approach to every one of our partnerships. We know we can help our partners make a positive impact on the world. We lead large project teams with many different companies and agencies - but make sure everyone’s voice has a chance to be heard and respected. With over 52,000 employees and an annual revenue of $13B, our focus on building long-term client relationships has helped us become one of the largest and most diverse providers of technical and professional services across the globe. Our bridge engineering business comprises nearly 1000 technical professionals globally. We act as lead designer, engineer of record, independent checker, technical advisor, and will supervise construction and carry out specialist investigations and surveys. Our end-to-end services cover design, consents, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance, giving support to owners during the life of the bridge. We’ve designed bridges spanning roads, railways, and rivers, crossing valleys, estuaries and sea straits and offer expertise in all types and forms of bridge for road, rail, transit and metro, from multi-span viaducts, complex interchanges, long span truss and post-tensioned concrete segmental bridges, arch bridges, moving bridges, to signature pedestrian and cycle bridges. We have delivered some of the longest spanning cable-supported crossings in the world, many award winning. We also provide specialist services in areas that include bridge rating, fracture critical inspection, remediation and repair, and use of alternative composite materials. Our aim is always to deliver transportation infrastructure projects and services of the highest value through creative, innovative, safe, sustainable solutions.
